After 2 week hiatus, cut it short at 11+mi. →
Two weeks ago I had my sleep study, then on the way home Monday morning I rear-ended a flatbed tow truck. This totaled my loaner car (Sorry, Dad.), and since then I’ve been bumming rides to work and scrambling to get my car back to road-worthy. Needless to say I’ve neglected running since then, but now that we’re back to a two car family I needed to get back to it.

Grew up farming, did communications in Vietnam for the Air Force, came home and worked for AT&T/Bell, retiring TWICE. Great storyteller.

With only a couple of months until The Middle Half, I’ve started back running and decided I needed to really start working on distance. I’d added a little here and there, but tonight decided on my way back to double over some of the side roads until I felt I couldn’t go any further. 11.17 miles, bitches.
